the rosey arch

Back in March I wrote here about the arches I had popped into my garden in an effort to create a beautiful rose covered walkway into our home.  I am happy to say that it worked as planned.  Here are some shots I took this morning (in the very dreary and overcast Melbourne light, sorry) of the rampant Albertine, doing her Spring thing.  God I love that rose.  This morning I am having some more pebbles delivered to freshen up the path, then if the rain holds off I will re-paint the deck, so the garden will be ready for Summer.  Well, the front garden, at least.  The rest, I will wait to complete until a certain puppy outgrows his digging stage...
